ARCHITECT

 

 

 Richard Bliah Associates is looking for talented and passionate individuals to become a part of our staff. You will be working as a part of the design team within various projects in Japan and abroad. The position is a full time, for the period of 2 years renewable. A 3 months trial period will be required before being accepted as a full time employee. Only successful candidates will be contacted by email. Job responsibilities:

-  Involvement in all phases of the design process including programming, schematic design, design development

-  Close collaboration with design team, clients, consultants, contractors and vendors

-  Development of space plans, pricing plans, FF&E selection, and specifications of products and materials

-  Prepare minutes of meetings

-  Resolves design issues and analyses design options

 

Requirements:

-  Bi-lingual (English and Japanese)

-  4+ years experience as Architect

-  Strong design talent, proactive, smart worker, punctual, organized

-  Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS and Microsoft Office.

-  Excellent communication and organization skills in a collaborative environment

 

Desirable Qualifications:

-  Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, 3D Studio Max, Vray, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and parametric design in general

-  Fluency in Japanese and Chinese (Mandarin)

-  Professional experiences as an active full time office architect
