CHIEF ARCHITECT / MANAGER

 

 

Richard Bliah Associates is looking for talented and passionate individuals to become a part of our staff. You will be working as a part of the design team within various projects in Japan and abroad. The position is a full time, for the period of 2 years renewable. A 3 months trial period will be required before being accepted as a full time employee. Only successful candidates will be contacted by email. Salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job responsibilities:

-  Technical coordination of project

-  Document coordination, design detailing

-  Maintain the Project Manual

-  Close collaboration with design team, clients, consultants, contractors and vendors

-  Reviews project for conformance to contract.

-  Tracks financial performance of project.

 

Requirements:

-  Bi-lingual (English and Japanese)

-  1st Class Architect license in Japan

-  7+ years experience as Architect or Project Manager

-  Strong design talent, proactive, smart worker, punctual, organized

-  Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS and Microsoft Office.

-  Excellent communication and organization skills in a collaborative environment

-  Knowledge of building codes and structures.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

-  Experience project managing in the Tokyo market

-  Parametric design and 3d rendering experience

-  Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin)

-  New business development skills

-  Very detail oriented

-  LEED accreditation
