To ensure that La Défense retains its place in the competition currently being battled out among major international business districts, it is necessary that it be revitalised. This can only be achieved by a metamorphosis of the physical conditions and the attractiveness of its public spaces. Thanks to new complementary activity sectors, the intention is to generate innovative ways of living and working in La Défense.

This will be realised by providing a centre of creative industries that will occupy the neglected spaces below he Slab. The aim is to provide the district with a social and professional mix able to relaunch and enrich its economic and cultural development.
